Chamberlain Park is undergoing a transition to provide greater recreational opportunities.

As part of this, Albert-Eden Local Board is providing these fun and free Easter events:

  • Movies in Parks – Jurassic Park (PG)
Friday 25 March, from 6.30pm. Bring the family and some popcorn for this classic movie under the stars.
  • Kids in the Park
Saturday 26 March, 10am-12pm. Easter egg hunt, egg decoration, sack race and egg and spoon race.
  • Symphony in the Park – Aotea Youth Symphony
Saturday 12pm-2pm. Enjoy a picnic or the food stalls, complemented by a performance by the symphony.
  • Bark in the Park
Saturday 2pm-5pm. Off-leash dog afternoon. There will be a course and toys. Dogs are only to be off leash during this time.

Access is via Sutherland Road in Pt Chevalier. We encourage people to walk, bus or use the North-Western Cycleway. There is limited parking on Sutherland Road, but you can park at Unitec or behind the Pt Chevalier shops.

Visit our information stand on the day and tell us what you think about the proposed changes!

*Chamberlain Park Golf Course will be operating an alternative course layout during this time. The existing 13, 14 and 15 holes will be repositioned from approximately noon on Friday 25 March until Sunday 27 March to allow for these events to take place. The course will be open and will continue to offer 18 holes of golf during this time.
