Members of the Albert- Eden Local Board including Glenda Fryer, Graeme Easte, Margi Watson and Peter Haynes opened the new double flying fox in Mt Albert Recreational Reserve on the corner of New North Rd and Wairere Ave. Says Chair Peter Haynes “We are opening up the north end of the reserve for families to enjoy. The double flying fox is great…double the fun. Last year we added a table tennis table and a BBQ and seats to bring people into the whole reserve.”
Rocket Park playground is at the south end of the reserve and very busy. Those who venture more into the reserve will also find tennis courts as well as the flying fox!
