Report card from October 2012

Cathy Casey was rated as one of the Council’s most effective elected Councillors by the NZ Herald  ( Auckland Super City score card: How they rate. 2 May 2012).

Hard working with plenty of experience, Cathy has worked hard to bring transparency and accountability to the new Council.

Cathy has questioned projects that don’t deliver benefits to ordinary residents, while championing measures to make our communities fairer and safer. As Chair of the Social and Community Development Forum she is at the forefront of tackling many of Auckland’s issues.

In addition to championing local issues such as our neglected volcanic maunga, Cathy is a well-known dog lover who can often be found in the parks and streets of Albert-Eden-Roskill, talking with local residents and following up on issues, while giving the dogs some exercise!
