Kia ora tātou. I am born and bred in Auckland with a passion for mental health. I have spent five years working to improve mental health services in Auckland and across New Zealand, and am recognised as a young leader in this field.
I believe mental health support should be available to anyone who needs it, when they need it, and that comprehensive primary healthcare and social services are essential for wellbeing.
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Service Management, and have won national and international awards for my contribution to youth mental health. I currently apply my skills in governance, strategy, service development, co-design, and youth development to mental health projects at ADHB. Having experienced mental illness and used services, I am a strong advocate for Auckland’s diverse communities, and strive to amplify their voices.
