“Find your place on the planet. Dig in, and take responsibility from there.” I grew up in Roskill South, attending local schools and being a member of Waikōwhai Scouts. This built a love for our community and a desire to give back to it.
I volunteer as a football and debating coach, assist community groups with weeding, trap pests along the Waikōwhai coastline and help at Owairaka Athletics.
As a teacher I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the Local Board to help make Puketāpapa/Mt Roskill a great place to live for our children and young people. I love nature and want to bring a renewed focus on protecting and improving the stunning Waikōwhai Coast. I will work to improve active transport access and effective community
engagement.
