Alex bonham
Dr Alex Bonham lives in Grey Lynn and champions all-age-friendly, climate-resilient cities. In her two terms on the Waitematā Local Board, she has successfully advocated for the restoration of the Leys Institute library, flood-resilient planning, improvements in water quality, low-emission transport, a better disaster response, and more play!

Anahera Rawiri
Anahera Rāwiri (Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Paoa) is a consultant, cultural strategist and principal at a major architectural design practice. With a background in iwi development, she has held roles in iwi governance and on the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board. In her three years on the local board, she has advocated for making Auckland’s city centre a destination, restoring the natural environment, and supporting economic development.

Caitlin Wilson
Caitlin Wilson brings skills in communications, politics and non-profit governance. As national coordinator for the Social Change Collective, a youth governance organisation, she is passionate about increasing youth participation in council decisions, making transport more affordable and accessible, and bringing more events to the city centre and surrounding suburbs.

Connor Sharp
Connor Sharp is a writer and advocate working in the non-profit sector, who also serves on the City Centre Residents’ Group committee. Connor sees huge opportunities for local boards to be a strong local voice for greater transport choice, better housing, and climate resilience, so everyone in Waitematā can thrive.

Kara Kennedy
Dr Kara Kennedy brings expertise in the technology and education sectors and is active in digital cultural heritage. A city centre resident, she aims to bring good management and a future-focused vision to enhancing Auckland’s city centre: supporting what works, addressing issues early, and making sure there’s something for all visitors and residents to enjoy.

Peter Elliott
Peter Elliott ONZM is an actor, writer, motorcycling advocate and presenter. He has served in board governance roles for Equity, Mixit, and Baseball NZ.. His goals include reversing ecological decline and restoring Auckland waters; strengthening Auckland’s arts, television and film sector; and delivering climate resilient, future-proofed infrastructure and public transport.

Theo van de Klundert is a community advocate, law tutor and governance professional passionate about building an inclusive, climate-resilient Waitematā. A Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel member, Theo champions diverse representation, local culture, vibrant public spaces, and a thriving local economy. He’s committed to housing that works, transport that connects us, and a city where everyone feels at home.
