Advance voting begins today (3 September) ahead of election day on Saturday 20 September.
Voting places are available around Auckland to cast early votes. Times and opening hours are available on the Elections website.
Unlike previous elections it is not necessary to give a reason for voting early.
Voting from overseas also begins today.
