Kia ora tātou. I am born and bred in Auckland with a passion for mental health.
I have spent eight years in the health sector, starting with six years improving mental health services across Auckland, informed by my own experiences. I have worked in research and evaluation, and wrote a significant Mental Health Inquiry submission compiling New Zealanders’ stories. I have a PGDip in Health Service Management and have received awards for my work.
I am an ADHB board member and Deputy Chair of the Hospital Advisory Committee. I have been outspoken on developing mental health services that support people in the way they need. I actively advocate for partnering with tāngata whenua and communities, for youth health, and for preventive health and social services that foster wellbeing.
I strive to amplify the voices of Auckland’s diverse communities. Vote for me and the City Vision Health team using numbers 1-7.
