City Vision is a local government coalition of Labour, Greens and community independents. City Vision was formed in 1998 to work together as an effective community voice. From the start, we have championed policies to grow Auckland into a liveable, safe, connected, healthy, economically and environmentally sustainable city for everyone to enjoy. Our candidates have a strong track record of service to ratepayers and Auckland’s communities. We work with other like-minded groups and individuals across the region.
We love this place. Tāmaki Makaurau is our home. It is where we work and play, raise our families, build our lives, and plan our futures. There is nowhere we would rather be.

City Vision, an unincorporated political grouping, has a covenant with the Labour and Green Parties to strengthen our collective progressive force in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
One of the strengths of City Vision is that we support our elected members throughout the three year cycle not just at election time.
In 2025 we are standing candidates across the Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa and Waitematā and Gulf wards; the Albert-Eden Local Board, Waitematā Local Board and Puketāpapa Local Board and for the Portage Licensing Trust.
