With local government elections in October 2022, nominations are now open for City Vision candidates for:
- Albert Eden Local Board (Ōwairaka and Maungawhau subdivisions)

- Maungakiekie Tāmaki Local Board (Maungakiekie Subdivision) and
- Portage Licensing Trust Ward 1 (Auckland City Ward).
City Vision is a centre-left political group made up of Labour and Green Party members, and community independents with progressive views. Since formation in 1998, we have campaigned in local body elections and for important local community issues in the central Auckland isthmus. We champion policies to grow Auckland into a liveable, healthy, economically successful and environmentally sustainable city. We have a strong track record of service to Aucklanders, and working together with many communities to achieve great results.
As well as the four Local Boards and Portage Licensing Trust, City Vision stands candidates for Auckland Council Governing Body in the Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa, and Waitematā and Gulf wards.
We are looking for passionate and engaged Aucklanders with progressive views, living in the above geographical areas to represent their local communities. We want candidates who will work for the wellbeing of Aucklanders and make a positive difference to our city. Candidates for the licensing trust must live in the licensing trust ward.
