I’m honoured to have served my city as a volunteer ambulance officer for St John Ambulance for more than twelve years, and recently as chair of their Central Auckland Area Committee. My paid profession during that time is as a building safety specialist in local government.

I now seek to contribute my emergency medicine, governance, and regulatory experience to Auckland DHB.

My goals on the board are to enhance the quality and capacity of hospital facilities, promote cutting-edge medical research, and improve the wellbeing of doctors, nurses, paramedics and other medical practitioners—all for the benefit of patients.

I want the ADHB to lead the way in addressing the risks of epidemics and the health impacts of poor quality housing, as well as bolstering efforts to tackle anxiety, depression and suicide.
