Kerrin was elected to the local board in 2019. She served as Deputy Chair for the first half of the 2019-2022 term.
Kerrin has resided in the city centre for more than ten years and has two years old twins. She is focused on bringing positive change for families living in the City Centre.
Her Iwi are NgaiTakoto, Ngāti Kuri and Ngāti Paoa. She believes providing Maori cultural advice and developing relationships with Mana Whenua are critical in the Waitematā. Her governance roles include chair and founder of Mana Aroha Charitable Organisation providing global opportunities for youth, and Co-Chair of Violent Free Communities.
With almost 20 years management experience in the social services sector I believe I have the the skills and attributes to represent the community well in the Waitematā.
Kerrin is passionate about providing outstanding community services for Aucklanders including housing, education, and addressing poverty.
