Re-elected onto the Albert-Eden Local Board in 2019, I was also elected its Chairperson in December 2019 for the first half of the 2019-2022 term. I am currently the Deputy Chair and accountable to you. I have worked continuously to improve services and facilities and bring new events and projects to Albert-Eden.
The SH20 Waterview project changed our area. On your behalf, I fought for and helped secure $64M worth of benefits for the affected communities and environment in Mt Albert, Owairaka, Waterview and Pt Chevalier.
I am a nurse and mum to two children. I work with at-risk youth; have chaired Waterview School’s Board for 10 years, am appointed by the Minister of Education to the Board of Northern Regional Health Schools where I am the Deputy Chair, am a Trustee for the Mt Albert Pool, a philanthropic trust and the Portage Licensing Trust.
My ethos is: work hard each day to improve our community facilities and parks, support groups and protect the environment.
