The Portage Licensing Trust makes recommendations to the Trusts Community Foundation, to return to our communities funds generated in our area by way of grants to schools and community groups. These funds enable volunteers to build connected communities.
I am asking for your vote to continue serving on the Trust as an effective member, making recommendations on the distribution of these funds to our communities.
My background is in libraries and social research. I grew up in Avondale, attended the local schools. I continue living here in an area I love.
Currently I am an elected Whau local board member and a qualified planning commissioner. I am committed to sound financial management and a socially responsible approach to ensure our communities thrive with assistance from the Trust. I continue advocating for the Licensing Trusts to become a Living Wage Employer.
