Talofa lava! I am a mother of seven, grandmother of four and a daughter of Maungakiekie where I attended Onehunga Primary School, Royal Oak Intermediate and Onehunga High School. I am a proud Samoan with Fijian/English heritage, fluent in both English and Samoan.
I am a former Elected Member of Portage Licensing Trust, New Lynn. My experience spans over 20 years in Education and I am currently the Senior College and Curriculum Leader for the first Pacific School in New Zealand, Pacific Advance Secondary School. I also serve as the Co-Director for Dunamis Music NZ. I advocate towards a cleaner environment and ‘Becoming a low carbon community’. We need leaders who empower our diverse community and work for equitable outcomes.
