I have served on the Puketāpapa Local Board since 2010, most recently as Deputy Chair, and I seek your support again.
On the Board this term I have focused on improving local parks and playgrounds and increasing community input to council decision-making. I believe in strong local democracy that gives a voice to locals all through the three year term. I’m keen to continue working to make Mt Roskill child-friendly.
I’ve worked on saving Liston Village for seniors social housing, and supported quality affordable housing developments.
I led the successful community campaign to stop the opening of yet another off-licence alcohol store in Three Kings, and I have a strong track record of speaking up for Puketāpapa on issues like local buses, footpath maintenance and a fair share of regional investment.
