We believe that Auckland’s strategic assets belong in public ownership.
Our publicly owned assets have been built up over many years and are an important part of Auckland’s economic and social fabric. Economic returns from these assets should benefit the whole community, not just a small group of shareholders.
Public ownership also means that we retain democratic control over key infrastructure, and with it the ability to shape a fair, prosperous, and green future for Auckland.
We are committed to public control and ownership of strategic assets. Only City Vision commits to keeping assets such as Ports of Auckland and Auckland’s airport shares in public ownership.
