In Puketāpapa our achievements include:

- Upgraded Keith Hay Park playground and signed off an upgrade to the Waikōwhai Park playground, due to begin this summer

- Worked with Councillor Cathy Casey to secure extra funding for the improvement of footpaths in the Long Term Plan
- Secured funding in the Long Term Plan for restoration and improvement of Waikōwhai Park and beach

- Partnering with groups to improve participation in Council submissions, including the Puketāpapa Youth Foundation, Somalian Education Trust and Global Hope Missions
- Completing the Urban Ngahere plan to guide tree planting on public land
- Funding a migrant conservation coordinator to engage migrants with English as a second language in conservation projects, including restoring Ramelton Reserve

- Funded pedestrian crossings on Hillsborough Road and small improvements around local schools
- Completed construction of the first stage of a Greenway path from Frost Road to Monte Cecilia Park and funded the second stage
- Supporting the protection of the Manukau Harbour through stream clean-ups with the community and tree planting in riparian zones

- Funded climate actions including:
- supporting renters to lower household carbon emissions and save money
- engaging a Climate Activator
- supporting Eco Neighbourhood groups in Hillsborough, Lynfield, Waikōwhai and Wesley
- Providing funding to local businesses to respond to Covid-19
- Developing an Integrated Area Plan in partnership with mana whenua and Albert-Eden Local Board to guide developments in Mt Roskill over the next 30 years
- Advocated for and funded an additional 5 water fountains for our local parks
- Funded climate actions including:

- Secured an additional $300,000 in funding from AT and the Governing Body to roll out a 3 year programme improving cycle, scooter and walking access to local schools
- Funding of events and community grants such as:
- the inaugural Wesley night market
- Lynfield Halo Trapping project and
- an extensive range of cultural events
