Last week the Auckland Heritage Festival opened at the New Zealand Maritime Museum. Guest speaker Frances Walsh gave an excellent pre-view of the Museum's Nuclear-free Pacific: a maritime story exhibition featuring Vega, the boat that first sailed to Mururoa in protest of French nuclear testing in 1972.
