Benji Fraser

Benji is studying History and Politics at the University of Auckland and is passionate about
involving young people in politics, and getting them engaged in local issues like green transport
options

Chrystal Thompson

Chrystal is an advocate for meeting the needs of the migrant community through her
involvement with Aotearoa African Foundation. Her aim is to make sure our natural resources
are protected.

Luke Johnson
Luke has a background in government and business advisory roles, and currently works in
Employment Relations. He wants to see Maungawhau prosper sustainably for future
generations.

Suveen Sanis Walgampola

Suveen is a Community Support Worker in Mental Health at Kahui Tu Kaha and the Salvation
Army Epsom Lodge. He advocates for climate change action that addresses equity in housing
and transport.

They join Julie Fairey and Red Tsounga, who are standing as candidates for Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa Ward Councillors.
