It proposes selling assets and massive cuts to arts, events, community grants and services in response to a forecast $295m financial hole. But what is the alternative?Find out at the launch of a Better Budget for Auckland. On Thursday 16 March at 6pm-7pm at an online public meeting on a better budget for Auckland, we'll be hearing from Craig Renney (economist, Council of Trade Unions), Cissie Rock (facilitator and community development expert), and India Logan-Riley (climate justice campaigner) about the proposed Auckland Council budget.
