City VIsion supports evidence-based, best practice road safety that aims towards “Vision Zero” that was adopted for Auckland in 2019. Vision Zero is an ethics-based approach that puts human life ahead of any other benefits, and has now been adopted around the world. The key principle is that, given that people inevitably make mistakes that result in crashes, we should strive to make those crashes “survivable”.
